A checklist for publishing in English and French
Review meaning, links and timing in both languages before readers see a change.

Agree on the source
Choose the version your team will translate from and keep a short list of names and terms that should stay consistent. Include dates, event locations and contact details in the review; small differences can send readers to the wrong place.
Review the whole page
- Check the title, summary and main text in both languages.
- Review image descriptions and captions.
- Follow each link and confirm its destination and language.
- Check reports and attached files, including their language.
- Preview the page on a narrow screen as well as a desktop.
Publish deliberately
In Plenvera, English and French pages have their own drafts and publication steps. Starting a translation creates a draft; it does not translate the text for you or publish either version. Ask someone with publishing permission to review each version before it goes live.
Track the next change
Record who reviewed each language and which information was checked. When a date or instruction changes, put both versions back on the review list. A published page in one language does not mean the other version is current.
